Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the spark plug wires.
2. Remove 2 screws (1) securing the coil (2) to the ignition control module (3).
3. Remove the coil (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Attach the coil assembly to the ignition control module.
2. Install two attaching screws.
- Tighten the screws to 4-5 Nm (40 lb in).
3. Connect the spark plug wires.
