Battery Volts

Battery voltage can be displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC) by pressing the "GAGE" until the display reads "BATTERY STATE NORMAL V." Battery voltage data is received from the Body Control Module (SBM) via the Class 2 serial data bus. The word "NORMAL" will be replaced with the word "LOW" when the battery voltage is less than 10.5 volts. The word "NORMAL" will be replaced with the word "HIGH" when the battery voltage is greater than 15.9 volts. This portion of the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) will display ???? if there is a loss of SBM communications.
