DTC B2458 - Theater Dim 2 Shorted To Battery Power:

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Body Control Module (SBM) may command the Interior Lamps to dim by controlling Ground. A short to Battery Power will be tested for when Inadvertent Power is active and the SBM can not perform the dimming process.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
When The Inadvertent Power is active and the SBM can not perform the dimming process. The Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) will not be set when the SBM is in the dimming mode or if DTC 1982, 1983 are set.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The SBM will continue to command the requested state.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
When the SBM can perform the dimming process.
