Headlamps Operation

Voltage is applied at all times to the Lamp Control Module (LCM) through the HEADLAMP Circuit Breaker and CKT 242 (RED). When the Headlamp Switch is depressed, the Headlamps input to the LCM is grounded. The LCM then applies voltage to the LH Low Beam Headlamp and RH Low Beam Headlamp, respectively. When the Headlamp Dimmer Switch is set to HIGH, the LCM removes voltage from the Low Beam Headlamps and applies voltage to the LH High Beam Headlamp and RH High Beam Headlamp, respectively.
