Traction Active Lamp

There are two methods used to control the "TRACTION OFF" indicator lamp. In the first method the lamp is hard wired through the Lamp Driver Module (LDM) to the Electronic Brake/Traction Control Module (EBTCM), the EBTCM controls the lamp. This method is used when the UB3 is installed on the vehicle. The other method when the U23 is installed on the vehicle is used to control the "TRACTION OFF" indicator lamp by messages received over the UART serial data lines to the IPC telling it when to turn the indicators "OFF" and "ON."
