With Dual Zone

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Temperature control is accomplished in two ways: by running or not running the A/C compressor and by directing system air either through or around the heater core.
In the dual zone system the air mix door is split in half and each half has its own actuator.
When the system is operating in dual zone mode, the HVAC programmer operates each actuator separately. Driver side discharge temperature depends on coolant temperature, outside temperature, inside temperature, left solar sensor and heater and A/C control "SET" temperature information. Passenger side discharge air temperature depends on coolant temperature, outside temperature, inside temperature right solar sensor and passenger temperature control setting information.
When the system is operating in any mode but dual zone mode, the actuators are operating in unison as the system works to maintain the heater and A/C control SET temperature.
