Glove Compartment: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Open I/P compartment.
2. Pull down stops and allow compartment to travel past stops.
3. Trunk release switch connector.
4. Carefully pry up valet (Oil Reset/Trunk Release) switch, if equipped.
5. Oil reset switch connector and switch if equipped.
6. Close I/P compartment.
7. Fasteners securing I/P compartment to the I/P.
8. I/P compartment by opening.

Install or Connect
1. I/P compartment.
2. Fasteners securing I/P compartment to I/P (in closed position).

Tighten
^ Fasteners to 1.9 Nm (17 lb. in.).

3. Open I/P compartment.
4. Pull down stops and allow compartment to travel past stops.
5. Valet (Oil Reset/Trunk Release) switch connectors and switch.
6. Close I/P compartment.
