Oil Pressure Gage

The oil pressure gage indicates engine oil pressure with the ignition switch in the "RUN" position. A sending unit in the engine block changes resistance with oil pressure, from about 0 ohms at 0 kPa (0 p.s.i.) to 90 ohms at 550 Kpa (80 p.s.i.)
