Door Locks
If the RKE Transmitter Unlock Button is pressed once, it will turn on it's output at connector C2 terminal "D."When the RKE Transmitter Unlock Button is pressed once, the driver's door will be unlocked. The RKE Module receives the transmitted signal and activates it's output at connector C2 terminal "D." This applies battery voltage directly to the LH Front Door Lock Motor which is grounded through the Automatic Door Lock Relay.
Pushing the Unlock Button twice within 5 seconds results in the RKE Module activating it's output at Connector C2 terminal "D" and Connector C1 terminal "E." The driver's door motor is driven directly by the RKE Module as described above, and the Unlock Relay in the Door Lock Relay Assembly is energized, causing the Passengers doors to unlock.
Pushing the Lock Button results in the RKE Module activating it's output at Connector C1 terminal "D." This energizes the Lock Relay in the Automatic Door Lock Relay and locks the doors. The driver's door is grounded through the RKE Module when locking.
