Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check Circuit Breaker #3 by noting Power Seat operation. If Circuit Breaker #3 is open, check for short to ground in CKT 1740.
2. If the Rear or Front Height does not function, but entire seat moves up and down, replace the Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch.
3. Make sure G201 is clean and tight.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
