9K-7 Rear Compart Lid Release W/Ign In Run/Trans Out of Park

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) senses no voltage on CKT 639 and CKT 275, the rear compartment lid release function can he activated using the transmitter. When the RCDLR senses voltage on CKT 639 and CKT 275, (ignition switch in "RUN" and A/T in "PARK") the rear compartment lid release function can also he activated using the transmitter. When the RCDLR senses voltage on CKT 639 (ignition switch in "RUN") and no voltage on CKT 275 (A/T not in "PARK") the rear compartment lid release function cannot he activated by the transmitter.

CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.
1. Check for an ignition input signal to the RCDLR.
2. Check for a false signal from the backup lamp and transmission position (Park/Neutral Position (PNP)) switch or short to voltage on CKT 275.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
If voltage is absent at terminal "B" of RKE connector "C2" (with ignition "ON") and A/T out of "PARK," rear compartment lid release will be available using the transmitter.
