Lower Intake Manifold Torque

Apply sealer GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent to the lower intake manifold bolt threads.

NOTICE: Failure to tighten vertical bolts before the diagonal bolts may cause an oil leak.

- Tighten the lower intake manifold center bolts in sequence to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.). first pass

- Tighten the lower intake manifold center bolts in sequence to 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.). final pass

- Tighten the lower intake manifold diagonal bolts in sequence to 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.) first pass.

- Tighten the lower intake manifold diagonal bolt in sequence to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) final pass.
