Tailgate Release

With the Ignition Switch in "RUN," "BULB TEST," or "START" and the Gear Selector Lever in "PARK," voltage is applied to the Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch. When the switch is closed, voltage is applied to the Release Relay. The relay energizes and voltage is applied to the Release Solenoid, releasing the Tailgate.
