Reclining

Battery voltage from I/P Circuit Breaker #3 is applied to the Driver's Seat Recliner Switch and the Passenger Seat Recliner Switch through CKT 1740. The Recliner Switches, which are grounded at C201, normally ground both sides of the Recliner Motors. When the Recliner Switch is moved to the "BACK" position, battery voltage is applied to the Recliner Motor through the GRY/BLK wire and the Recliner Switch. The motor will rotate to move the seatback back. The Recliner Motor will be grounded through the PNK/WHT wire.

When the Recliner Switch is moved to the "FORWARD" position, battery voltage is applied to the Recliner Motor through the PNK/WHT wire. The Recliner Motor will be grounded through the GRY/BLK wire and the Recliner Switch. The Recliner Motor will rotate in the opposite direction and move the seatback forward.
