Rear Compartment

When the Trunk Lid Release Button is pressed on the Transmitter and the Keyless Entry Receiver receives a signal with a valid Vehicle Access Code (VAC), the Keyless Entry Receiver will supply battery voltage at its terminal "H". This battery voltage is then applied to the Trunk Lid Release Solenoid. The Trunk Lid Release Solenoid is energized and the Trunk Lid can be opened. If the Ignition Switch is "ON" and the Transaxle Range Switch is not in "PARK," battery voltage is not supplied to Keyless Entry Receiver terminal "C" and the Trunk Lid will not open.
