All Door Unlock
The Unlock function is separated into two operations depending on how the "UNLOCK" Button is pressed on the Transmitter. If the "UNLOCK" Button is pressed once, only the LH Door is unlocked. If the "UNLOCK" Button is pressed twice within 1 to 5 seconds, all doors will be unlocked. When the Unlock Button is pressed once on the Transmitter and the Keyless Entry Receiver receives a signal with a valid Vehicle Access Code (VAC), the Unlock function sequence is performed. The Keyless Entry Receiver will supply battery voltage to the LH Door Lock Motor through CKT 694. The motor is grounded through the contacts of the Lock Relay in the Power Door Lock Relay. The LH Door Lock Motor runs to unlock the LH door.
If the "UNLOCK" Button on the Transmitter is pressed twice to unlock all doors, the Keyless Entry Receiver will activate the Door Unlock output at pin G. The Keyless Entry Receiver will then supply battery voltage to the coil of the Unlock Relay in the Power Door Lock Relay. The Unlock Relay is energized and closes its contacts. Battery voltage is supplied to all Door Lock Motors except the LH Front. The motors are grounded through the contacts of the Lock Relay in the Power Door Lock Relay. The motors run to unlock the doors.
When the Unlock function is used, the Headlight Switch receives an Unlock Signal through CKT 295 from the Power Door Lock Relay, and lights the Courtesy Lights for approximately 40 seconds, or until the Ignition Switch is turned to "RUN."
