Coolant Temperature Gauge

The coolant temperature gage displays the engine coolant temperature. The gage is an electronically controlled air core display that receives input from the digital engine coolant sensor temperature (ECT) as a varying resistance proportionate to the engine coolant temperature. This display is not linear, the gage is more precise beyond 200°F. Some visible fluctuations are normal during operation.
