HANDLE AND LOCK MECHANISM

Lock Mechanism And Outside Door Handle:

REMOVAL
1. Remove trim pad, upper half of water deflector and rear lower run channel. Refer to "Trim Panel".
2. Disconnect lock rods. Replace lock rod clips if latch is not being completely replaced.
3. Remove two handle screws.
4. Remove three screws and the lock mechanism.
5. Disconnect electrical connector.

INSTALLATION

NOTICE: Do not operate lock or remove block-out plug prior to installation.

1. Install new lock rod clips to latch.
2. Install three lock mechanism screws.
3. Install outside handle to door.
4. Install two bolts to outside handle.
5. Align and install outside handle rod and adjust barrel nut.
6. Remove block out plug from outside handle.
7. Install rear run channel.
8. Install water deflector and trim panel.
