Brake Light Switch: Description and Operation

Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid Circuit:

The TCC brake switch informs the PCM of braking conditions. During such conditions the PCM deactivates the TCC solenoid to allow hydraulic coupling between engine and transaxle to resume.
