Valve Body Cover

VALVE BODY COVER


TOOL REQUIRED:
^ J 28467-A Engine Support Fixture
^ J 36462 Adapter Leg

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Transaxle bracket, refer to "Transaxle Support Assembly."
2. Drain pan under vehicle to catch any fluid that may drain.
3. Transaxle oil cooler pipes at transaxle.




4. Valve body cover
5. Cover and Gasket.

CLEAN
^ Ribbed surface of cover and machined surface of case. Both surfaces must be free of transaxle fluid.

INSTALL OR CONNECT




1. Gasket on case with silicone bead facing out.
2. Cover and new gasket.
3. Cover bolts/screws.

TIGHTEN
^ Bolts to 11 Nm (97 lb. in.).

IMPORTANT
^ Rib on cover must fully contact the entire silicone bead.

4. Transaxle oil cooler pipes to transaxle.
5. Drain pan.
6. Transaxle mount bracket, refer to "Transaxle Support Assembly."

ADJUST
^ Fluid level.
