TEST DESCRIPTION
Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.

1. If there are any DTCs present, those DTCs must be repaired first. The 4T60E transaxle will default to 3rd gear if DTC 21, 22, 24, 53 or 55 are present.

2. Checks the first gear switch status.

3. Verifies first gear switch status change.

4. Checks the fourth gear switch status.
