Information Bus: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION:
The data line Is the communication link between the technician and the various modules on the vehicle. Besides allowing modules to communicate with each other, It allows the technician to run system diagnostics via the data link connector DLC. Using a hand-held bi-directional scan tool, the technician can read and erase codes.
