Test G: Coolant Temp Indicator Is on at All Times
Disconnect the Coolant Temperature Switch connector (V6 VIN T) or Electronic Control Module (ECM) connector A (V6 VIN L). Put Ignition Switch in RUN and observe the Coolant TEMP Indicator.
^ If the Indicator does not light, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace the Coolant Temperature Switch (V6 VIN T) or refer to CEC section for Electronic Control Module (ECM) diagnosis.
^ If the Indicator is still on, check DK GRN (35) wires, Instrument Cluster printed circuit and the Ignition Switch for a short to ground (see schematic). If OK, service the Instrument Cluster.
