Oil Pump Cover & Body Assemble

1. Place stator shaft through a hole in bench, then install oil pump cover onto oil pump body.

2. Install pump cover bolt. Do not tighten bolts at this time.

3. Using oil pump body and cover alignment band J-25015, or equivalent, align pump cover and body.

4. Torque pump cover bolts to specifications, then remove J-25015 from pump.

5. Install O-ring seal, chamfered side out. Ensure O-ring seal is not twisted. Lubricate with Transjel.

6. Install thrust washer. Retain with Transjel.

7. Install alignment pins J-25025-1, or equivalent, into case.

8. Install gasket, then the oil pump assembly into case, aligning all holes properly.

9. Install bolts and washers and torque pump to case bolts to specifications. Ensure turbine shaft rotates freely.
