Shift Shaft

Refer to accompanying image for shift shaft components.

1. Install reverse shift lever (153).

2. Install shift lever (157).

3. Install 1st/2nd bias spring (156).

4. Assemble pins (154) and rollers (152) onto shift shaft (155) and retain using petroleum jelly.

5. Install shift shaft assembly (A) by tapping with a suitable hammer. Align hole in shaft (155) with hole in shift lever (157).

6. Install pin (158). Ensure pin is even with shift lever surface (157).
