Rocker arms are pedestal mounted, over support plates, Fig. 10. To replace rocker arms, remove valve cover, pedestal retaining bolt(s), pedestal and the rocker arm, noting position of double ended bolts for assembly. Replace rocker arms and pedestals as an assembly if they are damaged or excessively worn. If rocker arms are to be reused, they should be installed in original position.
