Replacing B62142 Exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor Bank I, Sensor II (B) / Pulse Generator

Replacing Pulse Generator On Right ( Passenger-side ) Exhaust Camshaft (N62 / N62TU)

(cylinder bank 1 to 4)

Switch off ignition.
Remove acoustic cover.
Remove right ignition coil cover.







Unlock and detach plug connection (1).







Release screw.
Remove pulse generator (2).

Installation:
Replace sealing ring and coat with anti-friction rubber coating.

NOTE:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
