Ride Height Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacing Rear Left or Right Ride-Height Sensor


Caution! After assembly perform height setting offset, refer to BMW Diagnosis System.

If necessary, check headlight adjustment.






Remove trim.






If necessary, remove height setting sensor and bracket.
Pull off plug (2).
Unfasten nut (3) and disconnect control rod.
Unfasten screws (1) and remove height setting sensor.

Installation:
Lever (4) points outwards.
Tightening Torque, refer to Automatic Suspension/Specifications.
