51 24 100 Removing And Installing/replacing Trunk Lid Lock (upper Section Of Trunk Lid Lock)

Remove lower trim power from trunk lid.







Lift out actuating rod (1).
Disconnect plug connections (2).
Unfasten screws and remove upper section of trunk lid lock.

Installation:
Perform function check with trunk lid open.
Adjust upper section of trunk lid lock (operation is described in section on "adjusting trunk lid to fit").







Only replace:
Unfasten screws and remove actuator drive (1).
Lift out actuating rod (2).
