Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

Removing driver's seat,
Standard seat. Comfort seat.
Sport seat.
Removing lower left door pillar trim.

Caution: After replacing the acceleration sensor, calibration must be carried out with DIS (Diagnosis and Information System) under the "Service functions" menu item.





Lift floor trim panel (1) and fold sidewards.
Release plug connector (2) and pull off connector.
Unfasten screws (3) and remove acceleration sensor.

Installation:
Ensure proper locking of the plug connector.
