Rear Impulse/Speed Sensor

Removing and Installing/ Replacing ABS Rear Pulse Generator Up to 9/98

Caution: Refer to "General Data", found in Brakes and Traction Control, Description and Operation.

Remove wheel





Partially unfasten rear wheel arch trim, pull plug connector (1) out of bracket and disconnect.

Installation:
Ensure proper locking of plug connector.





Pull cable (1) out of mounting (2).





Release hexagon socket head cap screw (1), pull ABS pulse generator (2) out of bore.

Installation:
Clean hole for impulse sensor and grease with lubricating grease Staburags NBU 12/K.





Lay ABS pulse generator cable (1) between brake guard plate (3) and mounting point (2) for traction strut.
