Air Conditioning Interfaces:

The M5.2 control module communicates with the IHKA control module as on previous systems. The A/C ON (AC) and compressor ON (KO) signals come to the M.5.2 from the IHKA module.

The M5.2 sends the KO REL signal as an "OK" to switch the compressor ON. This signal is also switched OFF to for the signal to cut compressor operation during WOT acceleration as on previous systems.
