Remove and Install

REPLACING FUEL INJECTOR





- Unscrew four mounting bolts (1) of the Injection pipe.
- Push up injection pipe until fuel injectors are lifted out of the guide on the intake manifold.





- Pull off plug (1) on fuel injector.
- Lift out retainer (2) and pull fuel Injector out of the injection pipe.

Installation Note:





- Check O-rings (1), replacing when necessary.
- Check code number (2).
- Check position of plastic washer (3).
- Check color of plug receptacle (5) or injector guard (4).
- Only coat O-rings lightly with Vaseline for installation.
FD = Manufacturing date

REPLACING FUEL INJECTORS (New Plug Plate)





- Unscrew holder (1).





- Disconnect plug (2).





- Disconnect coolant temperature sensor plug (3) and DME temperature sensor plug (4).
- Pull up and remove plug plate.





- Unscrew mounting bolts (5...8).
- Push up injection pipe until fuel injectors are lined out of the guide on the intake manifold.
- Remove fuel injectors separately.

Installation Note:
- Check O-rings, replacing if necessary.
- Only coat O-rings lightly with Vaseline for installation.
