Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing






- Remove the front interior/reading lamp. Refer to => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp.

- Carefully pry the diffusion lens - 1 - out of the socket - 2 - - arrow - using the (3409).

- Release the retaining clips - 3 - with a small screwdriver - arrow - and tilt the garage door opener control module (E284) - item 1 - out of the interior/reading lamp - 2 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press the front interior/reading lamp lens on until it engages.

- Insert the front interior/reading lamp into the roof cutout and clip it in.
