Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

• Wedges (T10383)

Removing






- Remove the side cover from the instrument panel on the driver side. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Side Cover ] Instrument Panel Side Cover.

- Remove the bolts - 1 and 2 - on the side.

- Remove the lower bolts - 4 -.

- Unclip driver side instrument panel cover - 3 - from the instrument panel at the upper edge with the wedge (T10383) and at the side with the trim removal wedge (3409) - arrows -.

• The instrument panel cover can only be unclipped from the instrument panel by exerting a relatively high amount of force.

- Disconnect the connector from the light switch.

- Unclip the 16-pin connector (T16) (Data Link Connector).

- Disconnect the connector.

- Disconnect the driver side instrument panel cover.

Installation






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert bottom instrument panel cover - 1 - in the clip - 2 - at the foot compartment.

Installation note: For example tightening specifications, replace components => [ Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover ] Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover.
