Affected Vehicles
Condition
Xenon headlamps with dynamic cornering light (PR No.: 8Q7)
^ Cornering light intermittently does not work.
^ Message displayed in instrument cluster: "left cornering light" or "right cornering light".
^ After switching the ignition off and back on the cornering light functions normally and no messages are displayed in the instrument cluster.
Tip: The low and high beam lights function normally.

Short circuit to earth

Short circuit to earth
The entries are sporadic.

Incorrect software.

Improved software.
Service
1. Replace the cornering light module
2. The new control unit must have software version SW 0031. This must be checked on the control unit (Figure 1).
