Hood, Adjusting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Adjustment gauge (3371)






Gap Dimensions for Hood






All dimensions are in mm with a +/- 0.5 mm tolerance.

Dimension A = 4,5 mm

Dimension B = 4,5 mm

Dimension C = 6.0 mm

Dimension D = 3.0 mm

Dimension E = 4.5 mm

Gap Dimension on Headlamp






- The gap dimension - c - = 6.0 mm between the hood - 1 - and the headlamp - 2 - must be set as illustrated.

Height Adjustment Stop Buffer






1 Rubber stop

The stop buffer - 1 - also works as a strike guard.

2 Hood

3 Adjusting buffer

The adjusting buffers - 2 - are used to adjust the height of the hood.

The adjusting buffer - 2 - must lightly contact the lock carrier when the hood is closed.

Hood Impact Guard, Replacing

The impact guard is also equipped with double-sided adhesive tape.

To remove, remove the clip from the hood and then remove the impact guard.

Installation:

- Slide the lining over the tabs on the rear edge into the holes provided on the inner panel.

- Insert the tabs on the front and side edges.

- The clips must engage audibly when pressing in.

- Press the clip in.
