Front Parking Aid Sensors (G252)/(G253)/(G254)/(G255)

Removal






Outer Sensors

- Remove the headlamp housing: HID headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, LED headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Press both catches- arrows - to side and press sensor - 3 - inward from outside.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - by sliding the retainer - 1 - back and pressing the release down.

Inner Sensor






- Remove the lock carrier cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - by sliding the retainer - 3 - back and pressing the release down.

- Push both catches to the side - arrows - and remove the sensor - 1 - at the same time.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Outer Sensors

- Install the headlamp housing: HID headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, LED headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

Inner Sensor

- Install the lock carrier cover.
