AFFECTED VEHICLES

CONDITION
^ MIL/EPC warning lights on.

^ The fault entries P0101, P2177, P2179, P2191, and P2193 are logged in various combinations. The entries refer to Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor G70 and lean fuel mixture condition.

^ Engine may have reduced performance without significant loss of power or stalling.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Slanted ribs of air filter element may affect the air flow to the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor G70.

SERVICE





1. Check the ribs of the air filter element for slanting (Figure 1).





2. Replace air filter, if necessary. Only use new air filters produced before CW21/10 or produced after CW28/10.
