Left and Right Convertible Top Compartment Enclosure Switches

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry Lever - Rmv Outside Mirror (3409)

Removing






- Open the convertible top until the displayed position of the top and the convertible top compartment cover is reached.

- Support the convertible top with a suitable wood stick.

- Remove both pins from the expanding studs in the convertible top compartment enclosure switch using the pry lever (80 - 200) - 1 - - arrows -.






- Open the flap in the luggage compartment side trim panel.






- Unclip and disconnect the convertible top compartment enclosure switch connector - arrow - on the back side of the luggage compartment side trim panel.

- Remove the convertible top compartment enclosure switch.

Installing

Further installation is performed in reverse sequence of removal, but observe the following:

• Make sure the connectors are installed all the way in and are secure.
