Front Floor Covering

Removing

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Standard Seat ] Standard Seat.

- Vehicles with a comfort reclining seat: remove the support channels. Refer to => [ Support Channels ] Support Channels.

- Remove the front center console side trim panel.

- Remove front sill panel trim. Refer to => [ Front Sill Panel Trim ] Front Sill Panel Trim.

Driver side:






- Remove the instrument panel cover on the driver side.

- Remove foot mat.

- Remove cover - 1 - for parking lock emergency release - arrows - and guide through the opening in the floor covering.

Passenger side:

- Remove the glove compartment.

Procedure for both sides of vehicle:






- Remove spreader clips - arrows - by carefully pressing in the clamping pin approximately 5 mm until it audibly engages in the spreader clip.

- Raise front floor covering - 1 - or - 2 - over the rear floor covering and pull back.

• Make sure the floor covering does not tear at the openings.

- Fold floor covering and remove through the door.

Installing

- Fold floor covering and lay it in the vehicle.

- Push floor covering forward and align it so that the openings align.

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
