Rear Cross Panel Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing






- Lift luggage compartment floor covering and insert it on the body.

- Remove the luggage compartment lamp (W3) in the rear lid.

- Remove rear lid seal lip - 2 - in the area of the rear cross panel trim.

- Unclip rear cross panel trim - 1 - vertically upward using the trim removal wedge (3409) - arrows -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert retaining tabs - 4 - of the rear cross panel trim on the left and right in the cut-outs of the luggage compartment side trim - 3 -.

- Press the rear cross panel trim on until it engages audibly and stretch the lip of the rear lid seal over the rear cross panel trim.
