Creating Cut-out for Vehicles with TV Card Reader R204

• The luggage compartment rear panel trim is supplied as a replacement part in only one version. The cut-out for vehicles with TV card reader (R204) must be cut later.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Jigsaw with metal blade

• Protective eye wear

• Hand drill with 8 mm bit

• Half-round smooth-cut file

Procedure






- To start the saw blade in the area to be sawed out, drill an 8 mm hole - arrow 1 - close to the perforation.

- Make the saw cut - arrow 2 - along the perforation.

- Deburr the cut edge using the smooth-cut file.

- Drill 8 mm holes - arrows 3 - inside the cut-outs for hinged hooks and saw out cut-outs along the perforations.

- Deburr cut-outs using the smooth-cut file.
