Radiator and Coolant Fan Assembly Overview

CAUTION!
Risk of injury from coolant fan starting by itself.

Before working in fan shroud area, disconnect electrical connectors.





1 Bolt

5 Nm

2 Bolt

2.1 Nm

3 Coolant Fan Control (FC) Control Module (J293)

4 Fan Rib

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fan Shroud ] Service and Repair

5 Coolant Fan 2 (V177)

With Coolant Fan Control (FC) Control Module 2 (J671)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Fan ] Coolant Fan

6 O-ring

Replace

7 Coolant Hose

Lift the retaining clamp to remove

Connect to the radiator, refer to => [ Connect the Coolant Hose with the Connector
Coupling ]

8 O-ring

Replace

9 Coolant Hose

10 Upper Rubber Bushing

11 Retaining Pin

12 Bolt

5 Nm

13 Radiator

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Radiator ] Radiator

change coolant after replacing

14 Lower Rubber Bushing

15 O-ring

Replace

16 Coolant Hose

Lift the retaining clamp to remove

17 Coolant Fan (V7)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Fan ] Coolant Fan

18 Bolt

2.1 Nm

19 Bolt

11 Nm

Connect the Coolant Hose with the Connector Coupling





- Remove the old O-ring - 2 - in the coolant hose - 3 -.

- Coat new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

- Press the coolant hose onto the connection - 1 - until it engages audibly.

- Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
