ASR and ESP Buttons, through 05.2008

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Special hook (3370)

Removing - vehicles with a small slot






- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the radio.

- Remove the lower trim for the switch unit - arrow 1 -.

- Remove the upper trim for the selector unit using (3370) - arrow 2 -.

- Remove the selector unit.

- Carefully remove the ASR and ESP buttons (E256) using the (3370) from the switch mount - arrow -.






- Unplug connector.

Removing - vehicles with large radio slot






- Remove the lower trim for the selector unit - arrow 1 -.

- Remove the side trim for the selector unit using (3370) - arrow 2 -.

- Remove the selector unit.

- Carefully remove the ASR and ESP buttons using the (3370) from the switch mount - arrow -.






- Unplug connector.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Connect electrical connector.

- Press switch into instrument panel mount and engage.

- Remove the radio.
