Intake Flap Motor and Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor

For installation location of the intake flap motor (V157). Refer to => [ Intake Manifold Assembly Overview ] Intake Manifold Assembly Overview.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Commercial 1 / 4 ratchet

• Torx 30

Removing

- Remove engine cover.

- Disconnect vacuum lines - arrows -.





- Disconnect connector on the turbocharger recirculating valve (N249) - 1 -.





- Remove bolt - 2 -.

- Open hose clamp - 3 - and remove the turbocharger recirculating valve (N249).

• Cover the opening on the intake hose.

- Remove bracket - arrow - for the harness.





- Disconnect the connectors attached to the wiring harness and move the cable harness to the side as needed.

- Disconnect the cable connector bracket from the water pipe.

- Carefully pry off linkage from Intake Flap Motor (V157) - 4 -.

- Remove Intake Flap Motor (V157) - 5 -.





• The illustration shows the intake manifold removed.

Installing

- Installation is in reverse order.
