Seat Pan without Seat Cushion Extension Separating and Connecting

• The procedure description is based on a manual or power standard front seat and comfort seat.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery clip pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Removing





- Remove the seat pan cover and cushion. Refer to => [ Front Seat Pan without Seat Cushion Extension ] Front Seat Pan without Seat Cushion Extension.

- Remove the rear and sides of the cover - 1 - from the upholstery - 2 -.

- Cut through the upholstery clips - 3 - using pliers - 4 -.

- Remove cover from cushion.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- When installing new upholstery clips, use Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634).
