1 Selector rod

• For 3rd to 6th gear

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Forks, 3rd through 6th Gear ] Shift Forks, 3rd Through 6th Gear

2 Selector fork for 5th and 6th gear

• Installation location, refer to => [ Installation Position, Shift Rods and Shift
Forks ]

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Forks, 3rd through 6th Gear ] Shift Forks, 3rd Through 6th Gear

• Checking for wear, refer to => [ Checking 3rd to 6th Gear Shift Forks for Wear ]

3 Securing pin

• Quantity: 2

• Only on transmissions with R tronic

4 Centering bolt

• 15 Nm

• Secure with locking fluid (D 197 300 A2)

• Only on the manual transmission

5 Ball sleeve or bearing bushing

• Ball sleeve on the manual transmission

• Bearing bushing on the R tronic

6 Selector fork for 3rd and 4th gear

• Installation location, refer to => [ Installation Position, Shift Rods and Shift
Forks ]

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Forks, 3rd through 6th Gear ] Shift Forks, 3rd Through 6th Gear

• Checking for wear, refer to => [ Checking 3rd to 6th Gear Shift Forks for Wear ]

7 Selector rod

• For 1st, 2nd and reverse gears

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Fork, 1st and 2nd Gear ] Shift Fork, 1st and 2nd Gear

8 Centering bolt

• 15 Nm

• Secure with locking fluid (D 197 300 A2)

• Only on the manual transmission

• Quantity: 2

9 Securing pin

• Quantity: 2

• Only on transmissions with R tronic

10 Coupling plate

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Fork, 1st and 2nd Gear ] Shift Fork, 1st and 2nd Gear

11 Ball sleeve or bearing bushing

• Ball sleeve on the manual transmission

• Bearing bushing on the R tronic

12 Shift fork for 1st and 2nd gear

• Installation location, refer to => [ Installation Position, Shift Rods and Shift
Forks ]

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Fork, 1st and 2nd Gear ] Shift Fork, 1st and 2nd Gear

13 Securing pin

• Quantity: 2

14 Reverse gear shift fork

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission, Assembly Sequence ] Disassembly and Assembly
