Removing





- Remove steering column electronic systems control module (J527). Refer to => [ Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - at ignition switch.

- Release retaining clips in - direction of arrow - and remove ignition key removal lock safety switch electrical connector - 2 -.

- Remove steering lock housing adapter wiring harness - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install steering column electronic systems control module. Refer to => [ Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module ] Service and Repair.
