Main Fuse Panel, Right A-Pillar

Removing





- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery ground wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the right A-pillar trim.

- Fold the carpet back in the A-Pillar area.

- Turn the locks - 1 - and - 3 - 90° counterclockwise and open the cover - 2 - over the main fuse box.

- Remove the nut - 5 - for the engine compartment battery cable.





- Remove the battery interrupt igniter (N253) - item 6 -.

- Remove the nut - 7 - for the interior battery cable.

- Mark the allocation of the electrical wires - 2, 3 and 4 - and remove the nuts.

- Remove electrical wires.

- Remove nuts - arrows -.

- Remove the right A-pillar fuse box - 1 -.

The appropriate wiring diagram shows the exact assignment for the right A-pillar main fuse box.

Installing

Tightening specifications, Refer to=> [ Front Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel Assembly Overview ] Front Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel Assembly Overview and => [ Electrical wire to right A-pillar
main fuse box, tightening specifications ] Front Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the battery interrupt igniter (N253).

- Install the right A-pillar trim.

- Connect battery. Required actions => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
